A security guard (SiPo) warns employees in the track area of approaching trains or shunting movements and is therefore one of the most important elements of construction site safety. Their work is carried out in accordance with clear legal and operational requirements.



Core tasks

Warning of approaching vehicles: safety posts trigger a hand-operated warning signal as soon as a vehicle reaches the approaching track





Monitoring the reaction: If necessary, monitoring posts observe whether all employees react correctly and repeat the signal





Documentation: Maintaining deployment and qualification cards in accordance with Annex 12 of the Framework Directive
