Training as a Class B train driver for freight and passenger transport

We will train you to become a train driver (m/f/d) within 12 months. This further training is offered at our locations in Braunschweig, Oldenburg, Osnabrück and Bochum - upon successful completion, you will be offered a permanent employment contract with a railroad company from our cooperation network.

Transporting passengers and goods is the main task of an engine driver or train driver (TD). As a train driver, you are an employee of a railroad company and operate the traction unit of a train or a shunting run. In addition, TDs drive regional trains, suburban trains or traction units in freight and long-distance transport.

TDs are responsible for ensuring that journeys are carried out safely and to a high standard. They also identify, assess and rectify minor technical faults.
